I have tested to see if no activity causes this and it appears not, in the middle of clicking a link, the 'lost connection' occurs.ħ. When the connection dies, double clicking on the WiFi connection details causes a reconnect, this takes about 40 seconds, but does reconnect, and again there is a variable time before the 'No Host' message appears when trying to browse.Ħ. WiFi Manager shows the dongle as being connected and an IP address via DHCP is listed.ĥ. Internet connection succeeds and then fails after a variable time, but within 15 minutes of first connection.Ĥ. There is no difference in my LSMOD output before or after failure apart from the list is in a slightly different order, both list the correct Realtek chip.ģ.
Apart from signal strength (WiFi 3 = 78% and the MicroNext = 56-65%) there is no difference between the connection disappearing.Ģ.
